New integrated amp from the Brit hi-fi manufacturer
Roksan has unveiled its latest integrated amp this week in the shape of the Kandy K2, an upgrade to the existing Kandy L.III with newly developed circuits and construction.
Upgrades include repositioning of the power transformer and rectifier circuits away from the audio circuits to reduce noise interference and relocating the motorised volume control to the middle of the system to reduce signal path lengths.
The K2 also comes with a choice of op-amp integrated circuits and signal switching relays to heighten performance quality.
Sound is described as 'accurate, yet even more delicate and powerful' than its predecessor, working with all kinds of music and delivering a soundstage with the realistic 'sound' and 'air' achieved by the highest quality amps.
The K2 goes on sale early October for £750.
