Projectiondesign has released its new top-of-the-line home cinema DLP projector range, the Avielo Optix.
The Optic single-chip projectors can deliver Full HD 1080p performance for screen sizes up to 180in diagonal and feature six lens options from the company's Signature series to ensure the best possible picture quality.
The unit uses projectiondesign's patented DuArch dual illumination architecture for optimum performance and extended lamp life.
Of the five projectors that make up the Avielo line, the company is concentrating on the Helios 3-chip, which promises 'unsurpassed picture image, clarity and performance that will simply amaze'.
The Helios uses projectiondesign's proprietary optical design and is 'spot on' for image sizes up to 300in diagonal.
The Avielo series models all feature an Etruscan bronze exterior and are finished in Projectiondesign's trademark streamline industrial design.
Internally we are talking 10-bit processing, custom optics, Philips UHP VIDI lamp technology, RealColor management suite and HDMI 1.3 interconnectivity.
Each projector is uniquely characterised and calibrated before leaving the factory.
No word on pricing and release date yet.
