After great success with its acclaimed Neutron IV two-way speakers, AVI has developed a larger model, the Brio three-way floorstander.
The Brio sports a one-inch tweeter, a five-inch mid and a 12-inch bass driver in a sealed enclosure. The crossover is second order at 250Hz and 2.5kHz which AVI claims is utterly undetectable and furthermore, vitally important so that common phase anomalies from bass/mid crossovers are eliminated. The fabric tweeters extend to beyond 35kHz and have a resonance of 700Hz, which enables a low mid to tweeter crossover at 2.5kHz.
