Bowers & Wilkins, the company behind the universally loved Zeppelin iPod dock, is to launch the Panorama dedicated TV speaker onto the UK market.
Described as 'a new breed of soundbar', it is targeted at improving the sound on 37in and larger flatscreens by delivering a wide sonic sweet spot.
Internally, the Panorama houses nine drive units, five of which are employed in the active centre speaker with two bass woofers, two midrange drivers and an aluminium dome tweeter featuring the company's proven Nautilus technology.
Six class D amplifiers that combine for a total power output of 175 watts power the drive units.
The Panorama is as happy wall-mounted as freestanding and adopts the Zeppelin styling with a swish black and aluminium look.
Available from April, the Panorama looks the business but comes at a premium - it'll set you back a whopping £1,500.
