Purveyor of posh AV kit Bang & Olufsen has unveiled a 40in version of its excellent BeoVision 8 LCD TV, which we have to say is pretty great.
Up until now only available in piffling 26in and 32in models, the company has decided to make a splash in the big screen market - for those with the dollars to spare of course.
The spec has also been tinkered with to bring it in line with similarly priced rivals - it's now Full HD 1080p with 100Hz refresh rate to polish pictures and there's a meaty integrated speaker array including internal subwoofer and speakers positioned for 'the reproduction of human speech'.
A range of stand and placement options makes it surprisingly versatile for its size too.
There's unsurprisingly no word on this monster's price as yet, but it's likely the same old story with B&O - if you need to ask you can't afford it.
