Warner Bros Films Vault

By Duncan Madden

Warner Bros

A novel new service called Film Vault has opened up across the pond courtesy of film studio Warner Bros.

A made-to-order DVD service, Warners has decided that rather than go to the unnecessary expense of reproducing older films on DVD with little idea as to what customer demand will be it will simply produce the films people want as they want them.

The service has gone live with an initial 150 titles available as both DVD and download, and the company expects to add around 20 films and TV shows from its sizeable 6,800 strong archive each and every month.

Titles will cost the standard $20 plus shipping, though there's no word on UK availability, but it's all online, so how hard can it be?
