Channel 4 has finally dragged its lumbering on-demand service in line with its terrestrial rivals by giving access to Mac and Linux users.
The channel's version of iPlayer was previously only available to the Windows consuming masses, but has now been opened up to Mac and Linux users as a streaming service using Adobe Flash. Only the catch-up facility is available for now, though the full archive is planned to be available later in the year.
The update comes as part of a larger spit 'n' polish Channel4.com is currently undergoing.
