We brought you news yesterday of Marantz's new CD spinner, the CD6003, and now the company has unveiled the integrated stereo amplifier designed specifically to work in unison with it - the PM6003.
Replacing the PM6002, the new model sports the reference standard chassis and M1 front panel to bring it in line style-wise with the rest of the Marantz 'family'.
Internally the PM6003 sports a low-impedance case-shielded toroidal transformer aligned to a new power transistor mounted on a new extruded aluminium heat sink, all designed to improve sonic quality.
This new engine fires out 2x45W of power and is connected via six line-in audio inputs, with two pairs of gold-plated speaker connections enabling speaker bi-wiring connections.
Vinyl fans are catered to via a high quality moving magnet phono stage input ready to take a turntable and make the most of it.
Going on sale in August, the PM6003 will retail at just short of £300.
