French speaker specialist Cabasse has released limited edition piano black versions of its Antigua, Jersey, Minorca and Java models from the MT30 and MC40 ranges.
The MC40 range is the intro point for Cabasse's point source coaxial technology and includes the BC10 unit with 27mm tweeter, 100mm ring midrange, seven-inch Duocell woofer and spatially coherent system (SCS) technology.
This drive unit allows the 400mm tall Minorca MC40 LE standmount speaker to be a true tree-way design.
The three-way Java MC40 LE is the smaller of two floorstanding models and uses the same BC10 tech and two Duocell seven-inch LF units as the MC40 LE, but stands 1,100mm high.
The piano black limited edition versions retails for £900 and £1,600 per pair respectively.
Also getting a makeover are the Antigua MT30 LE and Jersey MT30 LE, two-way speakers from the entry-level range, each housing a DOM36 tweeter that conforms to the principles of Cabasse's SCS (spatially coherent system) technology.
The Antigua is a 410mm tall stand mount speaker with 170mm low frequency driver.
The Jersey is a floorstander that brings an additional seven-inch LF unit to boost bass output.
The limited edition versions of each will set you back £550 and £1,000 respectively.
