French speaker firm Cabasse has added a new speaker to its Altura MC range.
The compact Ambrose 3 is intended as a front, centre or rear speaker in a 5.1 set-up and can be mounted on bookshelf, stand or wall, horizontally or vertically. It uses the same BC-13 coaxial drive unit and Duocell woofers as the Egea 3.
The slimline cabinet uses a D'Apollito arrangement with the two-way coaxial tweeter/midrange driver in the centre flanked by the pair of 7in woofers.
The Cabasse Ambrose 3 is available now in cherry or santos real wood veneer, or with a gloss black finish, for £1,260 each.
