British speaker manufacturer Monitor Audio has unveiled a new BX version of its established Bronze range.
The new range includes trickle-down technology from Monitor Audio's flagship Platinum series as well as the recent Silver RX upgrades.
All seven of the Bronze BX models include C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) alloy drivers, as well as single-bolt driver fixings to reduce potential vibrations, improved crossovers and HiVE II reflex ports.
The unique C-CAM tweeter design has now been revised to offer higher sensitivity, greater detail and a wider bandwidth beyond the 30kHz mark. The C-CAM bass drivers now promise greater accuracy and the new C-CAM midrange drivers claim to deliver a wider response.
The upgraded crossovers now sport higher-grade components and improved short-path PCB layouts, while the HiVE II reflex ports, which we've seen previously on the RX and Platinum ranges, have rifle-grooved interiors to improve air flow from the cabinets and promise a cleaner bass response.
Each of the seven models come in a choice of four vinyl wood finishes: walnut, natural oak (pictured), rosemah and black oak.
