Italian company Audio Analogue has been making hi-fi separates for around ten years and now its hoping to bring its expertise to the one-box audio market.
The new Enigma multifunction audio unit boasts a 50-watt integrated amplifier, CD player and an AM/FM tuner and interestingly, it uses valve technology.
The Enigma is priced at £850 (sorry folks, early reports that it would be £495 have proved to be unfeasibly optimistic) so although it's not the cheapest of all-in-one hi-fi units, Audio Analogue hopes the use of valves may sway customers looking for something a bit special. It's out now and more information can be found at www.ukd.co.uk
