Here's an interesting fact. Did you know Belgium manufacturer Eupen is apparently the only company in the world that produces cables with ferrite extruded over the conductor strands? It's true, and the company has released a range of ferrite-enhanced products designed to boost your AV set-up.
First in the range is the GNLM 05/2.5 cable, specifically designed and manufactured for the audio industry. The cable is available in three standard lengths of 1.0m, 1.5m and 2.0m, with longer lengths to order.
There's also a shielded power cord featuring triple protection against noise caused by RF and EMI signals. The power cord is rated at 16 amps, which far is excess of the maximum value of fuse in the plug which should make it capable of delivering fast clean power to
amplifiers rated at 500 watts +. And in all three conductors, the copper strands are encased in a polymer of yes, you guessed it, ferrite.
