Think you need a vinyl collection the size of Chris Moyles to be a DJ? Think again. Denon's new DN-S3500 CD/MP3 deck is fitted with a cunning active turntable that enables you to mix and scratch your digital files in the same way you would with a vinyl record.
Strangely, there's no actual storage capacity on the DN-S3500 for your MP3 files, meaning you have to copy them all to a CD first. But hey we'll forgive this minor quirk, as the idea of having 'vinyl like' control of your digital files is such a cool function. And of course you can fit hundreds of MP3 files on a CD, so you can kiss goodbye to that back-breaking record bag too.
Considering what the DN-S3500 is capable of and the fact it's a professionally benchmarked DJ product, we don't think the £700 asking price is too much.
