SoundArt canvas speaker system

SoundArt UK has unveiled a new speaker system that marries sound and photography, two forms of art which go together very well historically. The SoundArt system uses canvas speakers rather than conventional box speakers to deliver sound, and these can be printed with images of the buyer's choice, art or photography. Images available depend on what the retailer is offering at the time or personal images can be supplied - so you can get your own photography printed professionally and as speakers too.

The 25W canvas speakers use “Distributed Mode Loudspeaker” technology which works by vibrating a sound board (much like a violin) instead of vibrating air like most speakers do, and wires can be hidden away so they don't distract from the main feature of the system - the art on show. A 100W subwoofer is included to provide the bass and the required connection sockets - most audio sources can be played through it, from MP3 player to AV system. The system comes ready to go, just hang on the wall and plug in.

The SoundArt systems are available nationwide at selected retailers now and a full list can be found at www.soundartuk.com. Prices start from £1,999 for the smallest panel system (2 panels, subwoofer, accessories and two images).
