Sometimes there's just not enough space, or in fact need, for a full blown Hi-Fi system in every room. Enter Denon's new D-F102DAB, a diminutive micro system that hopes to make big audio waves.
Crammed into the solid alloy fascia lies a DAB and FM/AM radio with 35 watts per channel a CD player with compatibility for CD-Rs, MP3 and WMA discs, dedicated iPod connectivity (with optional ASD-1R dock) and a front panel input for other portable audio devices.
The D-F102DAB also comes with the increasingly rare options of a phono turntable input and separate DRR-F102 cassette deck (sold separately). Stereo speakers are also optional.
Out now, the CD/DAB receiver system complete with speakers comes to £500 (£400 without speakers) and the optional DRR-F102 cassette deck is another £150.
