About 3,000 years ago, when Oasis still made good records and an 'MP3' was just nerd speak, CD auto changers were the ultimate gadget for the music loving couch potato.
Apparently Japanese manufacturer Denon still sells quite a few CD changers so its releasing a new 5-disc model, the DCM-500AE. Featuring Denon's own specially designed DACs for improved sound, the unit is designed to match Denon's Advanced Evolution Hi-fi range.
The DCM-500AE isn't however just some exercise in retrophilia, it also comes with MP3/WMA decoders for the modern day compressed music fan.
Out now, the Denon DCM-500AE costs around £250 and is available in black or silver.
