Those seeking some budget speaker cable look away now. Oehlbach has just released the seriously high-end Fusion Two, costing a whopping £425 for a 3m terminated pair.
This all copper cable has a single crystal conductor and large conductor cross section (12 x 0.45mm2). Each signal path has 12 ultra-pure HPOCC copper solid cores of 0.45mm, each wrapped in a very thin 10 micron skin of copper foil for a large surface area with very little volume. Every strand of solid core and wound foil is further insulated with a PET Mylar wrap.
