Last year's TEAC MC-DX10 system was a design triumph and it looks like the company has struck gold again (or rather silver) with the aluminium coated CD-X9 stereo system.
Featuring honey-comb diaphragm NXT flat panel speakers, a 1in NXT exciter and a 4in active subwoofer, the slimline CD-X9 sports a vertical CD player supporting CD, CD-R/RW and MP3 discs. There's also an FM/AM/RDS stereo tuner and Aux input for your iPod (something its predecessor lacked).
The TEAC CD-X9 is due out any time now at around £180.
