German hi-fi company Accustic Arts has upgraded its CD Player 1 with a new model, the suitably titled CD Player 1 Mk2.
The CD Player 1 Mk 2 uses a 24 Bit/192 kHz DAC in top-loader design and comes fitted with a magnetically shielded toroidal core 75 VA transformer. To demonstrate its serious high-end grunt, the CD Player 1 Mk 2 comes with no less than five separate power supply units for laser control, digital signal processing, display control, display heating and DAC sections.
The player sports two analogue outputs, one balanced (XLR) and one unbalanced (RCA). And for minimum resonance the whole shebang is housed in a beautifully crafted aluminium case.
Available now, the Accustic Arts CD Player 1 Mk2 costs around £3,985.
