Nordost Silver Screen HDMI cable

Blimey we thought TCI's Copperhead HDMI cables were silly money, but that's nothing compared to Nordost's new Silver Screen range.

With prices starting at a wallet-busting £200 for just one metre, the Silver Screen HDMI cable comes with 'Dual Micro Mono Filament' silver plated copper conductors, each helically wrapped in FEP 'Dual Micro Mono Filament' threads and extruded within an FEP tube. Sounds complicated enough, but whether all this technobabble justifies the dosh we'll just have to take Nordost's word.

The full range is as follows (those with tender bank balances look away now): 2 metres - £259, 3 metres - £319, 6 metres - £499.
