Maxfield, famous for its LG Chocolate-a-like MP3 player, has introduced a tasty looking new slimline player to its range, the MAX-IVY. As well as a touch key interface and funky aesthetics the MAX-IVY also claims to be scratchproof (well, obviously it doesn't personally - it is an inanimate MP3 player after all).
The casing is made of magnesium which will apparently deal with rough and tumble like 'water off a duck's back'. Aside from saying no to scratches, the player comes in 1, 2 and 4GB versions supporting MP3, WMA-DRM 10, and OGG files. A lean 8.5mm thick and lightweight 42g support the 65,000 colour TFT screen.
Other features include a voice recorder, alarm clock and lyric display capabilities. Throw in a 14 hour battery life and you've got a robust, good looking little player on your hands.
