If we were to have a street party round our neck of the woods we'd probably get shot at by the neighbours, but for those in safer suburbs there's the GEAR4 StreetParty N2 speaker system.
Designed for both first and second generation iPod nanos, the N2 pumps out a mighty 2 x 3 watts stereo sound - which is hardly going to trouble the authorities, but should be plenty for the park or beach.
The N2 comes with four AA batteries and is available in black or white. Expect to pay around £30 on its release this month.
