The T585 offers both DVD Audio and SACD support, while using 24-bit 192-kHz audio DACs and high speed FET output devices to keep the quality high. Digital bass management should prevent the bass frequencies from distorting, and a True Surround circuit to give the impression of five channel audio from just two speakers.
Video performance should be good too with a Dual Discreet Video Circuit for top quality visuals via component video, and a 12-bit, 216-MHz video DAC for vivid detail on low level video signal. HDTVs won't miss out with upscaling of standard DVDs to 720p and 1080i via HDMI and component.
