Description: Denon has released two new universal iPod docks that let anyone add iPod, internet radio and full PC or Mac music streaming to any hi-fi or home cinema system that has a screen: ASD-3W and ASD-3N
Developed for the growing number of people who keep all their music on computer or iPod as opposed to CD, these docks are a way of bringing music back into the living room, or wherever else you want to hear it.
The ASD-3W is developed for Wi-Fi networking with internet radio and PC/Mac streaming, while the ASD-3N is Ethernet-ready for internet radio and PC/Mac streaming. Both feature high-spec D/A converters, first class active preamps, gold-plated phono connectors and come with what Denon describes as ‘decent’ supplied cables.
Both models offer full colour graphic on-screen displays with the likes of cover art, track info and set-up as well as showing photos and video from all capable iPods and PC or Mac.
They are compatible with all iPods including the latest 6G Fat Nano, Touch, Classic and iPhone, and are among the few current docks that can play 6G video authentification, and can be controlled by the supplied remote or via a Denon handset and control bus.
