Strengths: Sexy piano black finish gives an air of quality which is supported by it's brilliant performance. World’s first 42in 1080p plasma screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080.
Weaknesses: TH-42PX70 may be a better buy now, with more acclaim for a lot less money.
Overall: Great picture quality. Easy to set up. Looks a million dollars.
Strengths: Superb non-HD picture when watching digital signals from my Sky-HD box & fantastic picture when watching Sky 1080i programs, Not yet seen any 1080p as I'm lacking a HD Player so I have that too look forward to, The build is fine too, My previous old CRT was a Sony Flat Screen with built in digital & it took quite something to pull me away from them but overall I was impressed with the higher standard found in the Panasonic.
Weaknesses: Not a lot really just I wish there was Picture-in-picture for the PC input which would be handy.
Overall: A fine 1080p 42" HD Plasma which in my view smacks hard in the face of the likes of Sony & only the Pioneer's flagship can beat but at a price!!
