Strengths: It has a great sound quality and it's an easy way to get DAB radio on the move.
Weaknesses: You have to remember to take it in and out of the car (unless you want it nicked)which is a bit of a nuisance on short journeys but the great sound quality makes it worthwhile.
Overall: I saw this at the British Motor Show last month and was very impressed. It's great to be able to add this to your car rather than replace the whole audio system.
Strengths: Audio quality is much better than fm siganals (if using the aux in feature). Easy to fit and take in and out of the car. Automatically turns itself on when you plug it in, and remembers the previous setting. Can also be used as a portable receiver....
Weaknesses: Wires can get in the way (mostly the power one). Dependant on coverage for your area.. down with me I loose it in various places, but I am at the extreme edge of the transmitting range. If you use batteries as the power source the output of the signal is lower than the supplied power supply via the cigarette socket, so you have to turn up the volume on the cars system, this does save the power in the batteries but when you change out of the dab signal the radio blows your head off..
Overall: An very easy system to fit initially, and a relatively cheap way to get DAB in your car. Overall a cracking little system, well worth the cost..
