Silver Anniversary-XT has been specifically designed as the natural replacement for the multi-award winning Silver Anniversary speaker cable. Designed with performance in mind- the Silver Anniversary-XT speaker cable boasts all of the characteristics associated with Silver Anniversary but with the added enhancement of Aircore technology found in the prestigious X-Tube series.

Features:
• Unique SPOFC triple braid 5 x 16 x 0.1mm
• Compressible Teflon Aircore for ease of termination
• Low resistance- low capacitance and low inductance
• Easy strip Polyethylene outer jacket
• 2 x 1.88mm2 conductor cross sectional area.

'STILL THE BEST VALUE'

Strengths:
Easy to handle, very discreet and suits most systems. Inexpensive.

Weaknesses:
Not the last word in clarity but at the price it's difficult to criticise.

'VERY GOOD UPGRADE IS USED WITH CARE'

Strengths:
Bright, clear and open performance. Great dynamics and very slim and discrete.

Weaknesses:
Use with caution in already bright systems. Like many silver cables, mid range and treble can become over-eager.

Overall:
Overall, an excellent cable. It is slim and discrete although slightly stiff, but only slightly.

The tube contruction of the conductors makes termination a little trickier but if you like 4mm plugs then get the cables supplied with the QED Airloc plugs pre-fitted. If you prefer your ends bare (as I do) then it will take you a couple more minutes to do it.

The sound is very good indeed. Accurate timing and good soundstage all assisted but very good high frequency bevaiour but that characteristic can agrevate an already bright system.

Still, at this price it's a fabulous cable that ensures that no fine detail is lost on it's way to your speakers.

'VERY DISCRETE CABLING'

Strengths:
"Disapears" visually against a light coulred wall. quite rigid so does not kink and twist. Quite thin.

Weaknesses:
None

Overall:
Works well. Not expensive.
