'SEEMS LIKE A WINNER'

Strengths:
cable snaps into its sockets, both toslink and mini, with a satisfying and secure "click". The cable is also nicely flexible, more so than others I have tried. The performance is excellent.

Weaknesses:
I had wanted a very short cable, and had to order the minimum length, I think 0.5M. I am not sure how rugged it is.

'TOO DELICATE'

Strengths:
The sound is good

Weaknesses:
Not mechanically strong. Mine stopped working and when I returned it under guarantee I was told it had been broken, even though I treated it like any other optical cable I have ever had.

Overall:
Avoid it if you don't want an expensive mistake on your hands

'GOOD PRODUCT IN MY CASE PROBABLY LIMITED BY THE FEEDING DAC.'

Strengths:
Nice sound, smooth; makes satellite radio and TV (my present use) fill the room. You can listen for a long time without getting tired.

Weaknesses:
Nothing really - just be careful with insertion into the sockets at each end.

Overall:
Worth buying for me - though I haven't done a back-to-back with anything other than one cheap cable so can't be absolutely sure.
