'SOUND FOR POUND - EXCELLENT'
Strengths:
After running in the Aegis Evo's offer clarity and detail to even the most mundane musical source, high tones are musical and clear, voices come out strongly all in all as my first step into 'HI-FI' I found that they offered excellent value and added some real enjoyment to my favourite CD's.
Weaknesses:
Like all book shelf speakers poor placement can muffle their bass response, and to be honest the black wood grain cabinets just aren't that aesthetically pleasing, but thats me being picky!
Overall:
As a first upgrade they offer a musical masterclass, adding great range and clarity to your favourite music for a great price, as I said at the beginning, Sound for Pound - Excellent
