| 'WONDROUS' | | Strengths: Their warmth, clarity and bass.
| | Weaknesses: Eh??? What weaknesses???? =) | | Overall: i'm an audio enthusiast not audiophile so this will be a simple review. The Conways are my favourite speakers, marvelous clarity, beautiful staging, considerable subtlety on delicate pieces, *have moved me to tears =)* and incredible, seismic bass. The Crystal Method, Meat Katie, Fluke etc sound as they would want to be heard. Being a pianist myself i have a large collection of piano concertos which the Conways treat as beautifully as the dance music. In addition, they are very forgiving of a lesser front end source, my currently used amplifier is only a Cambridge Azur 640 v2 but the combination produces a sound that would cost a lot more dosh than i've spent to better.
