'THEY SOUND GOOD UNTIL YOU SWITCH THE NR CIRCUIT IN!'
Strengths: They could save your hearing. Comfortable.
Weaknesses: When you switch the NR circuit in there is increased hiss, decreased resolution
Overall: These are the best designed noise reducing headphone that I've found. Slightly less sensitive than the version without the NR, it still sounds good.
The battery unit is a little heavy and you can get as good results with closed back headphones.
The NR circuit kills the background rumble that is there that we don't usually notice until it's gone eg. traffic noise.
Strengths: High quality. Have used them on long journeys and are very comfortable.
Weaknesses: They are a bit fiddly to put them back in the case, but you get used to it.
Overall: The Battery unit has a clip which you can rotate and clip on your clothes, but is a little heavy if wearing a light material but will fit nicely in the chest pocket.
Comes with the travel jack for the plane and a handy carry case.
