Strengths: All round improvement on the standard 'fly-lead' connector on my Marantz CD600 OSE kI. I had to manufacture a plug for the cicuit board, but a vast improvement
Weaknesses: A little thick for the intended purchase, so getting hold of the right cable clamp was a bit of a bodge.
Overall: Great improvement over standard cable, I wish I had bought some years ago.
Strengths: Well constructed and shielded. Easy to terminate
Weaknesses: None at the price
Overall: I bought 2 sets of Lorad 1.5 with IEC and mains plugs for my Sky digital box and Denon DF101 mini, as part of a "tidy-up" of cabling. The cables are easy to terminate and look very tidy. Definite performance improvement on Sky, with sharper picture and denser blacks. Limited improvement on Denon sound, but already using a dedicated mains consumer unit and no known interference issues.
Strengths: small diameter, easy to retro fit to captive mains systems. Does a good job of cutting out interferance especially line level signal cables.
Weaknesses: None.
Overall: A thoroughly recommended cable for people on a budget or DIYers. I soldered this cable to all my captive kit and managed to squeeze it into the grommets in my kit by stripping the outer layer and using shrink sleeving. Looks like a real professional job.
