'OK BUT FTHERE ARE CHEAPER AND BETTER OPTIONS'
Strengths:
Cheap compared to many commercial cables.
Weaknesses:
Very poor bass on my system
Overall:
I recently replaced my Silver An. cables with Cat 5e Network Cable UTP Solid Low Smoke Zero Halogen which is 99p /m from Maplin after having problems with lack of bass at low volumes. This stuff is great and much better bass whilst maintaining the overall sound.Save your money and make your own.
And certainly don't waste your money on plugs on the end of speaker wires, unless you are in a studio where you are constantly disconnecting equipment they are such a con. Introducing another bit of metal into the system is plane barmy if you don't need to.

'SO SO'
Strengths:
clear
Weaknesses:
Lack bass, sound rough
Overall:
upon comparing to other cables costing slightly more, it makes this cable poor. Sound rough and hazy. Budget cable. Look elsewhere and spend slightly more for better sound.

'GREAT RANGE AND CLARITY FOR THE PRICE'
Strengths:
The clarity of sound for this price
Weaknesses:
none
Overall:
The clarity of sound. I use the Silver Anniversary wire on my surround mids and rears on a 7.1 system and it really provies clear and precise delivery of crystal clear sound. Movies have been seriously improved as a result!

'GREAT PERFORMANCE FOR THE MONEY'
Strengths:
Clean well detailed sound with strong and clean bass lines. Very good sound staging.
Weaknesses:
Nothing I can see or hear.
Overall:
Relaced my much loved DNM Reson as the single wires used were too brittle. The QED astonishingly not only matched but outperformed the DNM. Great cable for the price.

'SUPERB CABLE, TICKS ALL THE RIGHT BOXES'
Strengths:
Crystal clear sound with detailed delivery of music from Springsteen to Bach

Weaknesses:
In Short, for the money, nothing
Overall:
Cannot fault it for the money. This cable will make your Hi-Fi sit up and really start to perform. Small wonder it is What Hi- Fi cable of the year, it is well deserved

'AVOID IN A BRIGHT SYSTEM!'
Strengths:
Pin sharp highs (at a price)
Weaknesses:
Bass robber!
Overall:
When i first used this cable, i was very impressed with the definition of the higher frequencies, not really paying too much attention lower down, and it wasnt until i moved onto a different brand(VDH) that i realised how much bass the QED SA had removed from my system, it was as if i had connected a quality sub with the VDH!
I would only recommend the SA if you have a system with an over bloated bottom end, and wooly top!
I have since moved it onto the front 3 speakers in my av system, as i need a bit more "sparkle" to dialogue, and not in need of bass.
