'LONG-RUNNING CLASSIC - WITH GOOD REASON'

Strengths:
Far better sound than one has any right to expect

Weaknesses:
Only as good as the stuff your favourite radio station churns out!

Overall:
This tuner has been around in one form or another practically forever, but it's still an outrageous bargain. Yes, there are better tuners but for 120 notes you'll not do better than this. Trouble is, so many FM stations are hideously compressed and spitty-sounding that you may never hear just how good this is. Note, by the way, that this tuner with a hundred quid's-worth of aerial will almost invariably far outperform any £250 tuner with an indoor aerial - unless you live practically next to the transmitter tower.
