Overall: never seen the ixos in action but for 30 quid it very likely is a decent cable - personally for a few pound more i would go for the NORDOST SILVER SCREEN SCART TO SCART - when they first came out they cost £230 -( yes £230 ) you can now pick them up for about £80 ,
i personally have 2 , and they are probally the most significant piece of kit i have ever bought in terms of seeing an instant massive improvement in picture quality , the silver screen will absolutly blow every other scart lead out of the water - and i do not say that lightly --
Strengths: Definite improvement in sound and picture (nice colours) over a cheap SCART, when used for connecting DVD player or VCR. Has nice blue colour itself! Flat shape and not angled, so easier to install / use in most cases.
Weaknesses: The plug is larger than I expected, so if you have a very tight space (eg the covered connection area of my JVC32DS6) squeezing it in may be tricky.
Overall: A good upgrade, as long as you don't expect HDMI quality!
