'NOTICEABLE REDUCTION IN INTERFERENCE'
Strengths:
A well constructed and shielded cable. I have this connected to a Humax PVR to resolve some RFI problems experienced on some channels which it has done. Small improvement in signal reported by the Humax's built in signal monitor.
Weaknesses:
For me none, but be warned this cable is very thick and heavy it will not like turning sharp corners if you are stuck for space.
Overall:
On build it makes the old standard ariel cables look a bit of wet string it is a very obvioulsy well made and heavy cable.

On signal improvements I did not notice a vast change as the PVR's own monitor had the old cable set-up as 100% quality (on most channels) I bought this mainly to resolve some RFI problems that were evident on some channels, which it has done. I also bought a Qed AV21 SQART to ensure the signal from the PVR to the CRT was also clean.

Picture does seem sharper, I can't put it down to one cable or another, then again this is going into a CRT rather than a flat screen so there comes a point where the screen's own magnetic field will limit improvements. When the CRT dies and I replace it I'll update this.

[Update 24/07/08] As per my comments on the AV21 SQART the death of my CRT now has me running this cable into a plasma screen from the STB. A very clear signal and good picture quality are evident despite all of the R/F noise produced by the Humax.

'NO BETTER THAN ANY OTHER CABLE TRIED.'
Strengths:
No worse than my original cable
Weaknesses:
Did not improve my picture quality in any way
Overall:
Bought this cable to replace my "in the box" type cables. Made no difference to signal or picture quality what so ever. Difficult to recommend over a standard cheap version from any electrical store. Have I been suckered into the higher price/quality cable theories?

'TOO BIG AND HEAVY'
Strengths:
Good build quality and well screened but..
Weaknesses:
The connectors are too big and the cable pulls out of the socket under its own weight. I've even changed the wall socket but it still does it.
Overall:
A good quality product fatally flawed by poor ergonomics. The worst quality connection is no connection at all and this is what you get when the TTV pulls itself out of the wall socket!

'EXCELLENT BUILD, GOOD QUALITY CABLE '
Strengths:
Excellent build quality, good connection
Weaknesses:
Some would say cable is quite thick and hard to bend
Overall:
While I had a fairy decent picture before I did used to occasionly suffer with interference on some freeview channels now there is a definate improvement in picture clarity and no interference issues whatsoever and build quality is superb as per usual with QED cables highly recommended

'DEFINATE IMPROVEMENT BUT NOT SURE ON QUALITY OF CONNECTION'
Strengths:
Noticed an improvement with cleaner images and can confirm the signal strength seemed to be improved, according to the parameters the machines compare, noting I had three components 'daisy-chained' before connection to the TV.
Weaknesses:
I do not think the connection provided by the male end of any of the QED TTV/TVR cables is a tight enough fit. I would expect a cable of this cost to be a snug fit with close tolerance but find the fit is quite loose with the sony and panasonic products I am using. Considering this is the first time I have changed the cables from the 'freebies' you cannot say the grip has been lost. The problem does not seem to exist on the female ends to the QED cable you use between hard drive /dvd units. Check and see what you think.
Overall:
Improvenent on all pictures considering the number of units I have commected but disapointed with the cable plug connection.

'WELL WORHT THE EXPENDITURE'
Strengths:
Gives a much more detailed and stronger picture than with a standard cable. Noticeable improvement in noise reduction.
Weaknesses:
None noticeable
Overall:
I was sceptical about this cable being able to deliver noticeable improvement, however, the results are clear to see. Even my sceptical girlfriend was impressed with the results so it must be good.

'QUALITY CABLE CREATES A SHARPER PICTURE'
Strengths:
Quality of the cable construction. Sharper more detailed picture, less noise interference.
Weaknesses:
Cost?!
Overall:
Excellent upgrade, if a little expensive, but VFM compared to many AV cables. Quality product.

'SMALL IMPROVEMENT'
Strengths:
I lost a little sibilance on radio broadcasts. This is better than the Russ Andrews alternative.
Weaknesses:
It's not earth shattering in performance.
Overall:
There was a small improvement. Little less hash and smoother top in Radio broadcasts. Some people may struggle to hear the difference.

Don't bother with a cheap system.
