'DIDN'T MAKE A BLIND BIT OF DIFFERENCE'
Strengths:
Well constructed. concise instructions.
Weaknesses:
Not the best looking thing, blocky and bulky and black lump sticking out the wall. Made no difference. Tried with and without the mains block from true colours. The block makes huge difference, the neo plug none.
I placed it in every socket in the house and can see no difference. Tried it when the washing machine was running, not running, tried it next to a (electrically) noisy drill, the noise still showed on the TV screen and heard through TV speakers (wasn't about to chance this with my amp switched on tho. Soon as I plugged my True Colours Mains Block back in, and tried the same test only without the neoplug, no noise.
Overall:
Would have lived with it being slightly unsightly, had it actually done all it promised. Sometimes with this AV and HIfi kit you have to ask is it a case of the Emperor's New Clothes.

'DIDN'T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE'
Weaknesses:
Very pricey, didn't make evne the slightest difference to my systems
Overall:
I expected far more from this product as I have used a product from Maplin (bought 20 years ago and not available now)that made a stunning difference in exactly the same situation.

'DIDN'T REALLY DO ANYTHING FOR MY SYSTEM'
Strengths:
see below
Weaknesses:
see below
Overall:
A strange one this, I've got two of them, one in the kitchen and one next to the freezer. I was warned against putting them directly next to the equipment by a well known mains cable spokesman at a hi-fi show. Truth is, I can't really tell any difference with them on or off. They may work for me but if they do I can't HEAR it. They MAY work better for you so I can't really rubbish them. Hence I've given mid range ratings.
Bearing in mind they are £30, buy one and see how you get on.

'IT WORKED FOR ME!'
Strengths:
Cleaned up hash and dropped the noise floor.
Weaknesses:
Cost for a very cheap item to manufacture.
Whether you get an improvement is system dependent.
Overall:
The extent to which these work will depend on how bad the electricity supply is in your house. They're best placed near the nastiest equipment you own - the fridge or the computer. I noticed the difference most in my television where the picture improved and the colours became more vivid. If you like the affect, you can use a couple to improve it.
