| 'VERY GOOD VALUE FOR DIY ENTHUSIAST' | | Strengths: Value for money alternative to 'kettle technology' power leads. | | Weaknesses: Heartache job fitting it to Bulgin plugs because of it's thickness | | Overall: Brings depth and authority to music after fitting to power amps. Can cause a little boominess if not matched carefully to bass heavy systems |

| 'GOOD CHEAP DIY OPTION' | | Strengths: Nicely made cable Easy to work with - just fits inside normal plugs and sockets. | | Weaknesses: Would not suit every system | | Overall: For me this cable (I have made up several) improved clarity and bass impact. Should have a good effect on most systems, but might not enhance systems which are already over-bright or bass-boomy. |

| 'GOOD VFM , BIG FAT CABLE' | | Strengths: chunky well made cable ,its the best value choice for d.i.y. cables! | | Weaknesses: none? maybe colour if you dont like light blue! | | Overall: if you shop around for a silver plated mk toughplug ,wattgate 320i connector and buy this cable, you can make a great lead for about £33-£37 |

| 'A GOOD PERFORMER' | | Strengths: Using the Supra Mains Cable I got a clear, more transparent sound, with improved stage and instrument separation. And the cost makes it a Best Buy! | | | Overall: Low investment and good results. |

| 'A CABLE WITH A HIGH C/P RATIO' | | Strengths: - Lowers the back ground noise considerably. - Increases three dimensionality, i.e. gives more depth to the performance. - The music becomes more "powerful" (free-flowing might be a better description?)
| | Weaknesses: - Not a lot to complain about for the price but if any parts of your system are not right you might suffer from excessive bass. - It is flexible enough but it has a large diamerter.
| | Overall: I have used Isotek's Premium and Russ Andrews Yello cable but in terms of cost / performance ration the Supra is miles ahead. I now use this DIY cable to connect my Isotek Solus to the mains instead of Isotek's own Premium that was supplied with it.
If you don't mind spending extra twenty minutes or so stripping a cable and tightening a few screws, then buy a length of this LoRad 2.5 (@ GBP12 / M), a Wattgate 320 IEC connector for around GBP15 and a MK Toughplug for GBP5 - that's less than GBP40 for a meter and a half version and it out performs the Isotek Premium and RA Yello cables in my system.

| 'THE ONLY CHOICE FOR DIY' | | Strengths: Easy to work with and terminate, surprising improvement in refinement and clarity when installed. I used it to connect a standard 6-way extension to the wall. | | Weaknesses: Needs care when stripping insulation off the cores, because of the very fine strands of which they're made - particularly the conductive-plastic earth insulation. | | Overall: I was very pleasantly surprised that such a simple upgrade could make a big difference, and found the installation process pleasantly straightforward. It's no more difficult to ensure a SAFE final result than when using conventional mains flex. |
