    'BARGAIN PHONO AMP'
    Strengths:
A small hand bulit metal box. Looks ordinary but performs beautifully. I have it attached to my Clearaudio emotion. Produces a neutral, liquid and detailed sound
    Weaknesses:
At times can sound a little soft perhaps
    Overall:
A magic piece of equipment that promoting engineering and function over aesthetics. My next upgrade will be a Graham Slee.

    'IF RECORDS MATTER BUY IT'
    Strengths:
I was always satisfied with the sound of my Pink Triangle Export / Linn Akito / Shure V15Vxmr combo but it's never 'sung' till the Gram amp 2se came along. The "fast active" technology really does what it says - this amp is so fast it's like someone's been messing with the pitch control...except of course my deck doesn't have one!
The bandwidth is amazing, the bass goes deeper than cd and treble is fantastic. I hate the treble of most hifi kit but this amp delivers. Tons of detail but nothing exaggerated. No ringing, distortion or changing of the stereo image. True high end at a bargain price - and I'm not at the end of the week-long running in period yet!. (Mine also came in a shiny metal case unlike the one in the picture)
    Weaknesses:
A bit sensitive to positioning in order to minimise hum, but it does give a good strong output signal (unlike most built in phono stages)
    Overall:
I have never really heard what my kit is capable of till I bought the 2SE
