Playlist features flexible. Small and beautifully formed. plenty enough storage on this one for me. | | Weaknesses: battery life, battery life, battery life... Oh and the fact that it's not replaceable by the user. | | Overall: I'm a sucker for presentation I'll admit, and while I know there are similar performing players out there, some of them for less dosh, the iPod seduced me with it's size and looks. I'm really enjoying using it and haven't really tried any other players so I'm not regretting my decision to take the plunge. I have seen a couple of the Creatives that friends have had though and they don't look too bad. |

But I’m glad I did, because now I’ve ditched my old Discman and wonder why I put up with it for so long. My only problem is really the same as everyone’s, that rubbish battery. My phone can go for the best part of a week without a recharge, so how come my iPod can barely make it through the day. I’ve heard you can get it replaced when it eventually packs in but I’d rather see a replacement battery that last three times as long NOW. |

| | | | Posted: 23/06/04 | | 'APPLE DOES IT AGAIN' | | Strengths: We must start with looks. Who can possibly deny the power of Apple's designers. The HDD is easily enough to see you through 300 albums at 160kbps, and if that doesn't last you too long, then you've got some issues | | Weaknesses: It has to be said that the iPod has batteries for breakfast, then lunch, supper, dinner before fitting in a midnight snack. | | Overall: Bar the battery problems, iPod is the future of digital music. If it weren't for it's price, the competition wouldn't stand a chance |

| | | | Posted: 10/03/05 | | 'Your wildest dreams come true!' | | Strengths: Everything about it. | | Weaknesses: I’m the weakness. Can’t resist it. | | Overall: The iPod has just gotta be the number one of cool. This is sex in a box. Smaller than the original, but so must-have you’d sell your mama for one. I was bummed out that it lost my playlist though when I plugged it into my computer. |

| | | | Posted: 26/05/05 | | 'EASE OF USE' | | Strengths: Brilliant minimalist design and the click wheel is by far the best interface of any mp3 player. Perfect syncing with itunes. | | Weaknesses: B & W screen isn't really acceptable these days, mobile phones have had them pretty much standard for a few years so its about time the market leading mp3 player standardised them too. The battery life is a bit pants too and the supplied headphones are crap. | | Overall: Despite the problems I'd still say that the iPod is the way to go. From its sleek looks to its ease of use you can't really go wrong. Just buy a new pair of headphones though! |
