'BIG AND BULKY BUT I DIDN'T BUY IT FOR ITS PORTABILITY!'
Strengths:
Ease of use
Features
Battery Life
Line Out
Capacity (It is an old player so be fair)
Weaknesses:
Size
Overall:
I have had this for a couple of years now and it is a truly excellent player. Yes its big, but I got it for my car and bedroom, not for carrying around and so infact it was the perfect size as you don't want to be fiddling about with tiny buttons etc when your driving!
Its line out feature sets it out above the rest as so many do not have this and so make it a bit lame connecting it to a hi-fi.
If you want a good MP3 player and not worried about the size then this is for you.

'BETTER QUALITY SOUND AND CONNECTION OPTIONS THAN ANY OTHER.'
Strengths:
connection options(2 line outs, optical in, headphone, usb and firewire)
sound quality
ability to create playlists on the fly
ability to upgrade hard drive to bigger size(you do this at own risk)
you can also use it to store data as well
replaceable battery(ipod has non-replaceable battery)
Weaknesses:
becoming harder to get accessories/batteries as player is now dis-continued
Overall:
the jukebox was not designed just for out and about(it is bigger than other players but small enough for a normal pocket) it is also designed to be used in the home and car. It has better sound quality than any other player(esp ipod) and has replaceable batteries(has space for 2 batteries which last 22 hours and you can carry spares).

I frequently create playlists on the player itself and searching for any track is easy. If you can find one, buy it, you will not regret it. Also try nomadness.net which has a community built initially on this player and now expanding so you can get help/advice about anything.
