'EXCELLENT CABLE AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY'
Strengths:
It made my CD player to reveal its full potential. Now it sounds highly musical and detailed, closely matching the highly detailed sound produced by my good old phono.
Weaknesses:
None that I have discovered. It is fair to say that the limiting factor in this equation is probably my CD source rather than the cable itself.
Overall:
A really excellent cable.

'VALUE FOR MONEY'
Strengths:
Musical and integrated sound,
Good focus
Weaknesses:
Quite inflexible
Overall:
This cable concluded my search for a good all-rounder. I tried Chord (Cobra) and Supra (Dual) at the same price, both fine cables. However only VHD produced a sound that you listen to for hours without fatigue, and in addition produced a natural and straight forward sound, no more no less. VDH is generally recommented for bright systems since the cables has a slightly dark sound.

'WELL WORTH THE CASH'
Strengths:
Detail boost and tighter bass
Weaknesses:
None so far
Overall:
Got these for £35 and was still worried I had wasted my cash. No worries, they are comfortably better that the prowire ones I had before. I am now able to listen at higher levels without ear fatigue.

'AFTER BEING SCEPTICA, I TOOK THE PLUNGE AND...L'
Strengths:
Clarity, openess, increased speaker response
Weaknesses:
None i can think of
Overall:
Although i do believe upgrading the standard cables you get with your hifi, i though my 20 pound cambridge audio interconnects (what hifi *****'s i might add) would do me pretty well. But after putiing the VDH on the change was instant. If you want fantastic interconnects and dont want to pay the earth these are the ones for you

'ANY VAN DEN HUL INTERCONNECT IS A WISE DECISION'
Strengths:
Products continually upgraded , thats why many have the words Mark 3 or Mark 4 which indicates several model improvements from original design
Weaknesses:
None: all sound comes through unchanged & clear as a bell as these are very Heavily Shielded cables.
Overall:
Just check the used Market- Van Den Huls
cables are frequently upgraded and carry value on e.bay & elsewhere."If you really want to
get the Ultimate siund Improvement for your system- Get the Van Den Hul "Orchids" the best that you can buy & superior to Nordost, Kimber,
Analysis plus.

'DEFINITELY A BIG IMPROVEMENT ON STANDARD CABLES'
Strengths:
I've tried a couple of other cheap interconncts in the past. The difference between the latter and the Van Den Hul is that the Van Den Hul is an allrounder, with no particular exaggeration.
Weaknesses:
None for the price.
Overall:
for 40 quid apiece, good value. I'm sure some more expensive interconnects are not as good all round as these.
