'GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY'
Strengths:
Looks and feels nice in the hand, screen is clear and hard-disc space is ample for my uses. Battery life wipes the floor with the iPod, as does price. You can also store data on the Zen’s disk!
Weaknesses:
It says in the manual that you shouldn’t use it for jogging – I’m no jogger myself, but be warned if you are! The supplied software is a little lame, although I use Windows Media Player, so doesn’t really affect me. I’ve found the touch-pad to be overly sensitive. Supplied headphones (as with EVERY portable audio product) are pretty lame.
Overall:
A good all-round player, with some minor limitations that might cause a problem for some. Good performance to the pound.
