'SUPERB - OUSTANDING SONIC PERFORMANCE'

Strengths:
new tone arm - 8.6
Piano black finish looks unbelievable
easy to set-up - value for money
as above - oustanding sonic performance
this is really a £250 deck

Weaknesses:
ortofon om5e cartridege

Overall:
firstly try out the ortofon om5e; once you have realised how harsh it is - change it for an audio technica at110e, the difference is stagering for £30. musical content and the bass, became an absolute pleasure to engage with. I took a chance buying this deck as I previously owned a Linn Sondek, but thouroghly enjoy it. I have not enjoyed a budget deck so much since I first bought a Systemdek IIX.
