'HIGH END SOUNDS, FOR A LOW LOW PRICE '
Strengths:
for around £300 used or ex demo these epos speakers do that very rare and peculiar thing, you will go thru all of your music collection to see what it really sounds like, incredible midrange, tight bass, spot on timing and musical like nothing else for the money.
Weaknesses:
they benefit from solid stands and a hefty thrash to run in fully. decent speaker cables are as with all speakers a must. some newer speakers tick more boxes regards looks.
Overall:
ignore the "aren't they a bit lean"? tosh spouted about epos in general, don't deny yourself a listen. i've got the 5 speaker package with m5's at the back ( they are all mag shielded ) and with my rel t1 they sound wonderful with movies too
