| 'SUPERB PICTURE, SIMPLE TO SET UP, HD READY' | | Strengths: Better picture quality, better colour, contrast and brightness than all the comparably priced Plasma & LCD screens, easy auto set-up, with a huge array of input options. Sagem are also quoting a bulb life expectancy of up to 12000 hours, which on average viewing use, equates to about 6 years (the 50" TV is quoted at up to 10000 hours) I am running mine without the supplied side-mounted speakers, and the whole tv is only some 3" wider than a 36"" CRT TV | | Weaknesses: There is a slight tendency to show the dreaded 'rainbow effect' when moving your eyes quickly, and the Sagem stand that is designed to complement this 45" TV, is not deep enough from front to rear to accommodate an AV amp: - Pioneer VSX-1014 overhangs the front of the stand by approximately 3"! | | Overall: Extraordinarily good value for under £2000, I would recommend anyone looking for a large TV to audition one of these sets - Can't rate it highly enough |
