'EXPENSIVE, POOR OVERALL SOUND, NO DAB.'

Strengths:
Neat looking one box solution. Nice remote. Bass digs quite deep.

Weaknesses:
Very expensive for what it is. Poor overall sound on CD other than with acoustic material. Case distorts at high volumes. Cannot handle complicated music well - ie classical. No DAB and need a good aerial to use radio. Ipod connected through AUX sounds very flat.

Overall:
I use this as a bedroom solution listening to a lot of classical music and the sound is very poor. Given the exclusion of DAB and the distinctly poor performance from any source I would have to say the Bose would be a let down at £200 let alone £450.
