'classic way to add movies to your music'
Strengths:
Excellent amps. Six channel bypass for dolby digital, dts, sacd, dvd audio. solid build with yamahas usual, exciting and involving sound. fine remote.
Weaknesses:
Seems ancient against modern amps and receivers. No pro logic 2 or extended surround audio.
Overall:
It piggy backs onto your hi-fi amp to form a 5 channel movie amp, without messing up your 2 channel enjoyment. Takes the dolby digital, sacd and dts audio off my sony dvd player and sounds sweet open and real. Why review it when its 9 years old I hear you ask? Cos they go for about £50 on ebay and that friends is silly money.
