'FINE ANALOGUE SOUNDING CD PLAYER AND FINE VALUE'

Strengths:
detailed and musical
competes with CD players at twice the price
new and sophisticated playing technology
unfussy about cabling

Weaknesses:
A little two dimensional when compared with the best up tp £1000
Takes some time to initialise therefore you need to be a patient listener

Overall:
Could be the best CD player under £1000.Rega have serious pedigree and their products are sincere, unflashy and fine value.I loved my old Marantz 63 KI signature and always thought I'd havre to spend a deal more to better it. This Rega has blown it away and I'll seriously consider upgrading to Rega in the future.
